This poster was commissioned for a racing event in September 2025, and was realized over a two week period with quick turnaround. The design evokes a traditional pastiche of French horse racing, while using an impressionist’s dashes of color to propel the jockeys off the page with their mounts.

This poster promotes the race with a striking composition that merges French national identity with the elegance of equestrian sport. The tricolor flag backdrop frames the ornate Hippodrome architecture, while dynamic racing silhouettes convey movement and excitement across the green turf. Bold typography and a restrained color palette of navy, white, and burgundy create visual impact while maintaining sophisticated restraint. The design balances patriotic symbolism with sporting tradition, capturing the prestige of French horse racing culture, while evoking themes from the Deco style of the 1920s and 1930s.
